What are you going to do with your life?
You’re probably tired of hearing that question.
So many decisions and it’s all on you!!
Gone are the days where you can look to your parents
for all the answers.
Now you are expected to make the big decisions.
And there are a lot of them!
Should you go to college?
If so, what kind of college?
Where will you live?
Will you live at home with your parents a bit longer
or are you ready to be out on your own?
How will you support yourself?
Do you have a job?
If not, how will you get a job?
Are you working towards
a career in college?
What are you going to be
when you “Grow up?”
You may wonder…
Where can you connect with
other people who will “get you”
understand what you are going through?
Where can you find support when I get stressed out?
Or maybe, you haven’t decided what you want to do yet?
(And by the way, that’s okay!)
In high school, there were counselors,
in college there are counselors,
but what if you don’t know if college is even for you?
Who can you talk to now?
If you have a disability or a mental health condition such as Anxiety or Depression, you may also be wondering, “How will I handle all this now?
What do I do if I have a flare up?
Will I be able to achieve my goal of going to college, having a career, or meaningful relationships?
Who can I talk to that will understand it
